Flower essences were sampled on some pets that received complaints for being very unruly, always running all over the place and being loud. The usual way to counter negative behavior like this was to prescribe the animals drugs like Prozac and Elavil. However, pet owners reported that they were not very happy with the behavioral changes in their animals. True, the animals did seem calmer, but they also seemed daze, and not like themselves at all. Another disadvantage to this was the reverting back to the unruly behavior as soon as the drug wore off. However, when flower essences were administered on some pets, many were pleased to report that their animals showed signs of calming down and appeared more behaved, while still retaining their personality.
