Ford Focus was first produced in 1998. It’s a first class automobile that offers enough space, a high degree of comfort, reliable brakes, long-lasting diesel engines. It has quite an extraordinary design that attracts the attention. The car is quite solid and you may thoroughly rely on it. The Focus model awoke Ford for a new life. The key to success turns out to be the good achievements in all disciplines. A good example is Ford Focus’s behaviour on the road. It combines both security and comfort. The bumps on the road are easily absorbed without causing discomfort to the passengers. Moreover, the car is absolutely noiseless even when it is supplied with 205cm wide tires. The Focus doesn’t have any problems neither with the turns, nor with the straight road. The car is spacious enough and the seats are designed to guarantee the passengers comfort so it is quite suitable for a long way. Only the boot is a bit narrow especially the boot of the hatchback model. The Ford have taken care of your security as well. The car is supplied with 4 airbags and an anti-lock braking system ( ABS). Driving Ford Focus is a real pleasure thanks to the permanent innovations and the company experience in the car industry. The Focus seems to be stuck to the road, it reacts immediately to the driver’s actions and its behaviour is predictable no matter what the road conditions are. Its precise handling is supported by the high stability of the bodywork. Ford Focus became a car of the year in several countries and regained Ford’s place among the world leaders in the World Rally Championship. The Focus has an amazing anti-corrosion protection that will prevent from rust appearing.
There are three generations of Ford Focus. First Ford Focus appeared on the market in order to replace the Ford Escort. The first models were a three-door hatchback, a four-door sedan and a five-door wagon. The new models of Ford are environmentally conscious. They have a special system that offers prompts on how to use less fuel. The second generation models have some specific disadvantages. For example, they don’t offer enough space for the heads of the passengers at the backseats. They spend more fuel and don’t cope so easily with the bumps on the road. You may face some problems with the brakes as well. A problem with rusting can also occur. Some of the other damages of all Focus models concern the electrical elements: inaccurate fuel gauges, defective relays of the petrol pump, sparking plugs, generators. Other damages concern the engine: torn timing belt, defective turbochargers or lost caps of the opening for pouring oil. The bodywork also have its problems: defective locks, shock- absorbers and lights. Some of the older models have problems with the airbags and the air-conditioners.
Just like every car, Ford Focus has its cons. However, whatever its poor sides are, the Ford Focus remains among the best cars thanks to its good cohesion with the road and the stability it guarantees.
