Kawaii Diapers Provides Environmentally Friendly and Affordable Reusable Diapers

Realizing that it can take hundreds of years for a conventional disposable diaper to decompose, the folks at Kawaii Diapers in Canada decided to invent an environmentally friendly, reusable diaper at an affordable price. According to reports by parents on forums and blogs, it appears that they have been quite successful. Not only is their diaper reusable, able to last for years if cared for properly, but the inner lining is designed to reduce diaper rash.
According to the Kawaii Diapers website, they have won awards for the eco-friendly manufacturing process for their diapers. They are manufactured in China specifically for them, with the workplace environment reportedly carefully checked from time to time by KaWaii personnel.
Those who use the diaper claim that it is virtually as good in quality as the more-expensive cloth options, but is at the lower end of the price spectrum. There is no point in buying cloth diapers if they are too cheap, and disintegrate after a few washings or a little abuse by your baby.
Pricing generally runs in the range of $6 to $12 or so for the outer waterproof (and very colorful) outer covering and some reusable inserts. You will need a dozen or more inserts and a couple of covers (because sometimes messes get outside the diaper, you know what I mean?). This pricing is around half of what we have seen elsewhere for generally similar diaper systems.
Some of the Kawaii diaper products are all-in-one (AIO) on sizing, although they may start out a little big for very small newborns. Over time little Bobby or Debbie will grow into them if they start out too large. If in doubt, consider the Pure & Natural diaper for newborns to 15 months of age. This means you'd need to buy the regular AIO diapers when he or she gets a little bigger, but don't forget that the pricing is notably lower for this brand, with some brands literally twice the price. Some of the more expensive brands may offer the ability to use a disposable inner liner for when you're away from home, but I'm sure you could find such liners for these diapers somewhere.
Other products include the Bamboo Minky diaper. Minky is a very soft outer surface on the waterproof covering. Bamboo fabric is used for the inner liner as supposedly offering superior absorption and ventilation for your baby's behind. The liner is reported to be pretty durable and biodegradable when you're eventually all done with it. The outer covering is very cute, apparently with two options for design.
For nighttime use and for babies who really know how to fill a diaper, they offer the one-size Goodnight Heavy Wetter ensemble. The microfiber in the inner linings is very absorbent and can be doubled up at night for extra protection.
The one-size Heavy Duty Suede Cloth liner is a good, solid reusable diaper that fits children from 8 to 36 pounds, so not so good for tiny niblets, but at well under $10 each, this seems like a pretty good deal. This one includes several layers to really handle business. There are a few other options, and different color choices available. For the price, the Kawaii diapers are definitely worth consideration.
