Generally couples choose to go on safaris at the start of their honeymoon, leaving the last week of their holiday to relax on a beach. A safari can be quite tiring especially after a tiring wedding day; most safaris take place in the early hours of the morning or at dusk.

An African safari is a truly unforgettable holiday experience, it touches something deep within and is an experience that you shall never forget. You may well have experienced wildlife in a zoo before, but venturing out on a safari is nothing like you will have ever experienced. It’s such a pure experience and will leave you breathless the entire time you’re out there.

One of the most amazing safari beach holidays to choose from is Tanzania and Zanzibar. Tanzania is a truly remarkable safari destination and is idyllically located near Zanzibar, allowing you to blend the two holidays with ease. Tanzania offers holiday makers iconic safari destinations like the world renowned Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro and Ngorongoro Crater. It is a country without fences; Tanzania offers a multitude of opportunities for adventure, from walking, horse riding and 4x4 safaris, to even the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Zanzibar is the ultimate Indian Ocean experience and has exceptional pristine beaches and a fascinating historical stone town. Zanzibar is the perfect beach holiday, whether you wish to just sit back and relax on one of Zanzibar’s pristine beaches or if you’re feeling more active and wanting to take advantage of Zanzibar’s world class water sports, you will truly be spoilt for choice.
