You don’t’ have to settle for painting your walls and then leaving it at that just because you are not in a position to spend a fortune on wall adornments. Therefore, it is important to make sure that you look at all possible options to decorate your walls at a minimum cost.

While we are on the topic of wall decorations, paintings and wall hangings deserve honourable mention. Paintings have been adorning walls for a very long time. Remember cave drawings, they are the very first forms of wall adornments known to mankind. As painting methods and techniques evolved, the paintings too evolved in many different ways. Nowadays, the most popular paintings would be oil on canvas. But, oil paints are expensive to produce as well as to acquire. The solution to this problem and the ideal way to adorn your wall with a canvas on oil without any of the fancy costs would be canvas prints. These could be anything from portrait prints to replicas of famous artworks. The reason for them to be so economical is the fact that they are created by printing rather than painting. This reduces a great deal of the costs of labour. If you are intent on hanging a Monet or a Van Gogh in your living room, opting for canvas prints is a great way to save time and money.

In addition to canvas paintings, photographs are also great addition to your wall décor. However, originals will come attached with a price tag of interstellar proportions. The best bet would be to settle for art prints of the photographs to decorate your walls in style. Photo prints are ideal for more contemporary themed decoration themes. Bare brick walls, bold coloured walls or textured walls will look absolutely fantastic with one or two strategically hung art prints.

In addition to all this, you can always select posters and handmade wall hangings to add some variety to the walls. Rather than just sticking the posters to the wall (like you did in your bedroom when you were in high school), it is much more classy to employ a poster framing, paining framing and print framing service provider to frame your poster and hang it up on your selected place.
