There are certain times in your life when you long for some luxury. It could be for a special occasion for you and a loved one, a treat for your family and friends or perhaps you just fancy spending a week or two away from the office being pampered and spoiled rotten on a tropical beach.

January is a time when people tend to get a bit down, what with the bad weather and going back to work after the festive break. A great way to escape the January blues would be to go on a luxury holidays and breakup your nine to five routine.

A problem that most holiday makers come across is choosing where to go for their luxury holiday, often it takes a lot of time to narrow you’re holiday choices down to just two or three destinations and once you’ve narrowed it down to two or three locations, the process of then narrowing this number down to just one location can be a rather lengthy process.

A prospective resolution to this difficult situation could be a twin centre holiday, not only are they an incredible way to break up long haul flights, they can also give holiday makers the opportunity to experience several destinations in one holiday.

If you’re struggling to choose between Bora Bora and Los Angeles you could easily spend a few days in Los Angeles seeing all the sights, shopping and eating out in some of the world’s finest restaurants and taking in some LA sunshine. You could also use a twin centre holiday to add destinations to your holiday that you might not have initially considered. For example, should you wish to go on a luxury holiday to Australia you could easily spend a few nights in either Hong Kong or Bangkok before heading down under. The inclusion of another destination makes choosing between destinations that much easier.

Another option for a twin centre holiday is to divide your holiday between two different destinations, thereby enjoying two incredible holidays in one. Popular examples of this are safari and beach combinations such as South Africa or Uganda twinned with the Maldives or Mauritius, or possibly Kenya or Botswana twinned with the Seychelles or Zanzibar.

If you’re struggling to choose between certain destinations in one country, you could combine a trip in the same country, for example a trip to mainland New Zealand could be combined with a trip to Tasmania or a trip to South Africa could combine a trip to Durban and Cape Town.

Not everyone wants to get away for a beach holiday, for others their ideal luxury holiday could be a blend of beach and culture. A perfect example of a break is South East Asia, you could go and visit Bangkok and whiteness the Great Wall of China, or head further into China and go to the impressive Olympic village and see where Usian Bolt famously broke the 100 meter world record.
