It doesn’t matter if you call it Master Cleanse, Lemon Detox, Maple Syrup Diet, Detox using Teas, Fruit Flush, Juice Cleanse, Fasting or Seasonal Detox, they are all just a very basic brief cleanse. None of them will be sufficient for extreme detoxification needs. But they are very good if you just want to give your body and vital organs a slight break from all the work done on a daily basis.
Do you realize that your body has to actually work to digest and process all the foods we eat, but especially the animal products we consume? Some meats are especially difficult for our bodies to digest.
So, a 3 day detox is nice, but it’s hardly enough to remove all the toxins, chemicals, pollutants and other bad fats that we consume during our lives. No 3 Day Detox will ever be able to get the whole job done in that amount of time.
Just by consuming high amounts of fruits to boost the body’s water content, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber and low glycemic carbohydrates, you will automatically excrete a certain amount of toxins.
This alone will help your body dissolve toxins easier while also increasing energy levels and improving liver function. But, the high caloric and sugar content may also cause some weight gain. This type of 3 day detox has limited benefits for detoxification and lasting relief against toxins and other pollutants your body may need to get rid of for optimal health.
It would be helpful for the liver though, since it’s responsible for distributing nutrients in the bloodstream.
Some fruit flush dieters say they can no longer enjoy the fruit because they feel like they just "need" to eat them without having the enjoyment to sustain eating a strict fruit diet any longer.
But, there are still ways to make a fruit diet enjoyable while doing a 3 day detox.
Some of the foods that can be added to the "fruit flush" plan are raw salad vegetables, whey protein, olive oil, pure water and limited amounts of protein sources such as chicken or fish.
If you’ve never done a 3 day detox or any type of detoxing before, then you’ll discover the benefits very quickly. Just like when a new product is introduced to the market, a 3 day detox diet plan will give you a taste of what it feels like to detox your body through this short diet.
This could help greatly help you when you feel like your body may be a little bit more "toxic" than usual. When you’re feeling sluggish or run down, and you’ve been getting all the rest you possibly can, there is probably something else wrong.
The 3 day detox is easy enough for anyone to implement. Give your body a break from the typical harmful eating habits and lifestyle traps most of us fall into.
The 3 day detox could also be a "springboard" from which you exchange some of those old dietary habits for better lifestyle habits. It only makes sense to eradicate bad stuff you eat. If we’d admit it, most of us already know when something is bad for us. We pretty much know that processed foods, junk food, homogenized fat, too much oily foods, soda, soft drinks, hard alcohol and smoking cigarettes are ALL thieves of good health.
The reason we continue consuming the "junk food," is because it brings us a certain level of comfort. We’re still convinced that we need to incorporate it into our daily intake.
By committing to the Lemon Detox, Maple Syrup Diet, Detox using Teas, Fruit Flush, Juice Cleanse, Fasting or Seasonal Detox, whichever 3 day detox plan you choose, you will be that much healthier for the effort. You may not have climbed "Mount Everest" yet, but the 3 day detox is a good start toward the more complete cleanses for detoxification.
