Call it a bar, pub, watering hole or heaven, the bar will always be the best place to have drinking games. Why it this popular place better? First of all, alcohol never runs out, second, you never have to clean up when someone has an accident, third, there are more drinkers who will join in the fun and finally, you can play as noisy as you can without being thrown out. Bar games are popular everywhere; in some famous bars, bartenders are even paid to host bar games to get the booze flowing. Of course the more drinks customers have, the bill also piles up.
Here are some of the most loved drinking games in a bar that you may want to do the next time you and your friends head out for a fun time:
The Pyramid Game - a drinking game of speed, skill, coordination and endurance. You need beer or other alcoholic beverages, 6 plastic cups and a stopwatch. Prepare 6 cups of beer then start timing as soon as the player lifts the first cup to drink. The player has to finish drinking all six cups then makes a pyramid by stacking the cups in the right order. The player with the fastest time wins! The prize? More beer!
Russian Roulette Beer Drinking Game - a bit messy so it is best played outdoors or indoors if the bartender permits it. You need a lot of beer in can and a lazy Susan (a moving disc or small table to serve food). Shake one can of beer vigorously then place it together with other "normal" cans in the lazy Susan, spin the table then all players must take a can. The player who gets sprayed on is obviously the loser of this "drinking game" .
Bar Golf - you guessed it right, more drinks and the least possible gulp to finish it wins. Divide your group into two teams and a faceoff between two players determines the game. Since drinking is played like golf, 18 bars will have to be visited the entire night with a scorecard to keep the score of the play. The team who wins will be the one with the lowest score after the end of the 18th hole (watering hole that is).
Name That Tune - is a fun way to start a party at a bar. The first player mentions or hums a tune and the player who can guess it right has to make the first player take a drink. He then has to hum a tune for another player to guess.
Karaoke Game - everybody loves to sing at karaoke bars and this is also a perfect time to start a game. Everyone has to sing as the microphone is passed around. Songs are picked randomly so no one knows which song is next. When a player cannot sing the song, he has to drink. This drinking game is perfect when you need to unwind or break the ice before everyone gets too drunk to sing.
