From an early age our parents teach us right from wrong ( like a new computer without any software we install all the required programs in to it so it can do all the things we want it to) and teach them about life.
When our children reach the required ages we send them off to school : daycare, kindergarten, elementary (primary) school, junior high school, high school, university after that point they enter the workforce in to their chosen field.
Now, at school they learn to communicate with other students and about life in general sharing and understanding the needs of others and so on. They learn "Mathematics" math for the Americans out there. They teach our children about fractions, percentages, plus, minus, multiplication and how to divide as well as algebra (I have no idea why).
However in saying that they don’t instruct our children (in my opinion) "Real Life" maths or how to be "street smart" with their money and to"think outside the box".
More emphasis should be put on the following:
-
The dangers of credit cards.
-
How to plan and manage a budget.
-
The dangers of borrowing money and the types of loans available with the benefits and drawbacks of each one.
-
How to earn passive and residual income and the differences between the two.
-
The workings of compound interest and how to attain it.
-
The importance of saving on a regular basis.
-
The stockmarket the hype and the dangers.
Basically, our children need to be taught about money in the "real world" especially with a strong emphasise on how to create passive income. In my opinion the three most important subjects at school for children are: Computer studies, mathematics and learning an additional language which in most cases is English for non-native speakers and for native English speakers a second language that compliments the region that you live in.
You may or may not agree these are simply my views. I will teach my daughter about all of the above and areas where I’m not so versed on I will have those who are experienced in those fields tutor my daughter.
Hence the two following sayings: "work smart not hard" and "fail to plan and you plan to fail"
Another very important addition to the points previously mentioned is to teach your children about ponzi schemes, HYIP and how to spot a scam.
Teach your children how to set up a website and how to monetize it and really open their eyes to how passive income can be made and that the world is constantly changing and what used to be just simply isn’t anymore.
There is no such thing as "job security" anymore big companies only think about their bottom line. Here is what’s happening around the world now:
Kicked in the teeth: Sacked Westpac workers train their Indian …
There is no such thing as loyalty anymore we are all just numbers. Now I don’t like to be negative I’m just pointing out the cold hard facts.
Now, this is where "Sports Investing" steps up to the plate so to speak. I’m not talking about turning your children in to compulsive gamblers, but sports investing is another alternative way to create streams of passive income over the long-term. I’m sure you can see the benefits of passive income and what it can do for you over time. We should introduce every avenue we know of to help our children attain a very comfortable lifestyle and a way of life that they can enjoy and pass on to their children.
If you haven’t already read the article below I urge you to do so, and if your new to sportswealthonline please have a good look around the site I’m sure you will find a lot of information that will help you attain passive income and understand the workings of it to be able to pass it on to your children.
