By reading to your child right from birth, they will be able to pick up on the words in the book and eventually understand them allowing them to one day read the book all on their own. Reading to children at a young age stimulates their brain and allows them to learn many language skills at once. Getting accustomed to a parent’s voice at a young age, and by spending time with a parent reading as a baby, kids will bond with their parents and form better relationships with their parents as well.
