Hello Friends! This article is about a travel experience of Nainital & Jim Corbett with Mukteshwar. The lake city Nainital, wildlife Jim Corbett and Amazing hill station of Mukteshwar is best to explore on a weekend trip from Delhi. It was a family trip to experience on 3 days trip from Delhi.
Nainital tour with Corbett and Mukteshwar
A Nainital tour combined with visits to Corbett National Park and Mukteshwar can be an exciting experience for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
Corbett National Park is located in Uttarakhand and is one of India's oldest and most renowned national parks, famous for its Bengal tigers and diverse wildlife.
Mukteshwar is a small hill station in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, known for its scenic beauty and adventure activities such as rock climbing and rappelling.
Nainital, located in the same state, is a popular hill station and known for its serene lake and scenic beauty.
To make the most of this tour, one can spend a few days in each location, indulging in wildlife safaris, trekking, and taking in the stunning views.

Nainital is a picturesque hill station located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated around a tranquil lake of the same name and surrounded by lush green hills. The town is known for its scenic beauty and pleasant weather, making it a popular tourist destination. Nainital & Jim Corbett National Park are two most beautiful destinations in Uttarakhand.
Some of the major attractions in Nainital include the Naini Lake, which is the center of the town and a popular spot for boating and picnicking, Naina Devi Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Naina Devi, and the Governor's House, a colonial-style building with beautiful gardens.
There are also several adventure activities available in Nainital, such as trekking, rock climbing, and paragliding. The town is also famous for its shopping, with a variety of shops selling local handicrafts, woolen clothes, and other souvenirs.
Travel Itinerary for Nainital, Jim Corbett and Mukteshwar
Here's a sample itinerary for a 7-day trip to Nainital, Jim Corbett, and Mukteshwar:
Day 1: Arrival in Nainital
• We took a road trip with Innova Crysta car on rent from Progressive tour travels and arrived Nainital in 7 hours with taking rests at some dhaba. We checked in at the hotel and rest for a while before heading for famous Mall Road strolling.
• Visit the Naina Devi Temple and the Governor's House
• Shop for souvenirs at the local market
• Stayed overnight in Nainital
Day 2: Nainital
• Start the day with a trek to one of the nearby peaks, such as Tiffin Top or Snow View Point. The amazing views of Himalayan peaks are more than awesome.
• Explore the town, take a stroll around the Naini Lake, and enjoy the scenic views
• Visit the Zoo and Eco Cave Garden. The deep caves have filled us with a sigh of adventure and enthusiasm.
• Take a boat ride in the Naini Lake and relax by the lake
• Stay overnight in Nainital
Day 3: Drive to Jim Corbett National Park
• Moved towards Jim Corbett with 2 hours drive and Check-in at the jungle resort and relaxed a little bit to get freshen up
• Go on a wildlife safari in the park and look for tigers, elephants, and other wildlife. The tickets for safari was already booked by our travel agent. The 3 hours safari was very exciting and we also clicked a lot of pics.
• Afer returning from safari, we went to hanuman Temple, Corbett Waterfalls and relaxed in our resort enjoying great views.
• Stay overnight in Jim Corbett
Day 4: Jim Corbett National Park
• Go on another wildlife safari in the park
• Visit the Garjia Temple and the Corbett Museum
• Stay overnight in Jim Corbett
Day 5: Drive to Mukteshwar
• Check-in at the hotel and relax for a while
• Visit the Mukteshwar Temple and the Mukteshwar Math
• Enjoy the scenic views from the top of the hill
• Stay overnight in Mukteshwar
Day 6: Mukteshwar
• Go on a trek to the nearby hills
• Visit the Chauli ki Jali and go rock climbing or rappelling
• Stay overnight in Mukteshwar
Day 7: Return to Nainital
• Drive back to Nainital and check-in at the hotel
• Spend the day shopping and relaxing
• Catch the evening train or flight back home
