There are five major construction management approaches, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. These include traditional construction management, design-build, construction management at risk, integrated project delivery, and public-private partnerships. The choice of construction management strategy for a project depends on various factors, including project complexity, size, location, client requirements, and available resources. However, theory can guide the selection of the most appropriate construction management strategy. This approach is suitable for large and complex projects with significant risk factors.
