"You are what you think. You are what you go for. You are what you do." Success first begins with your thinking, your thoughts. You are what you think. Your thoughts have the power to determine whether you reach your goal or not. A negative state of mind does not breed the fruits of success. If you are constantly in a state of fear, worry and doubt, you are not attracting the right circumstances and conditions to allow success and lady luck to be on your side. But if you constantly feed your mind with positive self-talk and imagine yourself having reached that goal already, then you are almost certain to reach it!
Abundance in life begins with acknowledgement. If you seek abundance in your life, first acknowledge that we all live in a universe overflowing in abundance. Lack and poverty are mainly brought about by thoughts of lack and poverty. So before you begin setting your goal, affirm the universe’s abundance, that it already has what you want even before you ask for it. Surely, then, you will have it once you ask! For your subconscious mind to totally accept this as fact, recite an affirmation everyday, like "I am successful in everything I do" or "Every venture I get into returns wealth to me."
With a positive outlook primed in your mind, you are ready to commence on your goal setting exercise. It is strongly recommended that you follow the below steps closely for these simple steps have proven to be effective when it comes to reaching goals. First, a proper goal setting begins with penning your goals onto paper. Words on paper is a natural communication to the subconscious mind. So the first step to goal setting begins with writing down your goals onto paper. Make it very specific. See the outcome very clearly in your mind. Experience the outcome of your goal in your mind. If it is your dream job, imagine walking through the office, talking to people, sitting at your desk and doing the work you love. Use not only your sense of sight, but whatever is applicable in your imagined scene. Do your visualization everyday, ideally upon waking up and before going to sleep.
Creative visualization and positive affirmations come hand in glove. Affirmations are to be done in present tense. You can say "I am happily working in my dream job," or something like that. Soon, you will attract events or circumstances that will lead to your dream job – or you might get an inspired idea on how to get your dream job.
Positive affirmations and creative visualization are some of the powerful tools that have always been used by successful people throughout the centuries to reach excellence. Two simple yet effective tools to create significant positive changes in life now lay in your hands. Success is only one step away. Are you going to take the first step now?
