You will be completely dressed for success when you reprogram your two minds: subconscious and Spiritual.

You can change the way you think, reprogram your subconscious mind and remove the old negative beliefs that have been stopping you from achieving success with the correct use of affirmations. Affirmations are positive assertions. You are stating, without a doubt, the truth about yourself and adding new information to store in the resources of your mind. Everything in the Universe is made up of energy and with the proper use of these affirmations you will become a powerful magnet manifesting success in your life. One bit of caution, while affirmations are a powerful tool, they alone will not manifest the success you desire in your life. You must also apply the fuel that ignites success; action.

Before you begin there are several important points to know about affirmations:

· Use the present or past tense. Do not use the future tense. You want your mind to know it has already happened.

· Be Positive. Use the most positive terms you can. Never, never, use negatives in affirmations! If at all possible state your affirmations while looking in the mirror, say them out loud with passion and conviction!

· One of the most effective ways to use affirmations is to sing them! Create a jingle out of your affirmations and sing them daily.

· Write them down so you will remember exactly what you want to say. Keep them short and to the point. Personalize them with your name. Leave notes or cardsaround so that you notice them throughout the day.

· Believe. Always believe that what you are saying is happening. The more belief you have the stronger the affirmation.

· Repetition. Repetition and persistency creates new, good habits which lead to success.

· Time. Set aside time daily for your meditations and affirmations. This also, will create a new, good habit.

Affirmations for Spirituality

· I meditate daily and reacquaint myself with God

· I trust my inner being to lead me along the right path

· I accept and love myself for who I am

· I accept and love others for who they are

· I am one with the universe

· I possess Divine wisdom and knowledge

· I fulfill my purpose in life by being of service to others

Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Meditation is the process of stilling the body and mind which enables you to connect with your spirit and soul. Meditation brings mental, emotional and spiritual balance which enhances and accelerates spiritual growth and enlightenment. It reacquaints you with the joy of knowing God.

Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God"

Meditation is also invaluable as a tool for self-healing. Giving your body as little as 5-10 minutes of quiet or shall we say "down time" a day can help relieve stress, fatigue, anxiety, lower high blood pressure, boost the immune system and keep your body healthy.

When you first start meditating your thoughts will take off trying to convince you that you are wasting your time, that you are to busy to be still and you should be doing other things. The truth is that unless you meditate you will not have enough time to accomplish what you set out to do. Without meditation we move about busily, rushing here and there. Meditation stills the mind which allows us to transcend time and space.

There are no set rules or procedures which must be followed. However, you should meditate with consistency. You should pick a location in which you feel comfortable and where you will not be interrupted. A good place to start is with simple relaxation meditation. Seated in a comfortable chair, with your back straight to prevent your mind from becoming sluggish or sleepy, your feet flat on the floor, your palms faced upward, take a deep breath. Close your eyes and relax. If you have trouble relaxing, your body begin by tighten and then relax each limb as you talk to your body "My feet are relaxed." "My ankles are relaxed." "My legs are relaxed", etc. Talk to every limb of your body from your toes to your head. When you are done, that is enough for the first day.

The next day try it again. When you find it getting easier to relax move on to breathing. Focus on your breathing. Breathe deeply, cleansing breath in and on the exhale relax and release any tension or areas of tightness. Try to regulate your breathing. Inhale for 3 counts, exhale for 3 counts. Next, inhale 3, hold for 2, exhale for 3. The counting should go on in our head. This means you have totally focused your mind on you. Five minutes should be enough.

On the next day, your goal should be silence. Relax yourself. Regulate your breathing and listen to your thoughts. At first, your mind will be very busy and you might even feel that the meditation is making your mind busier; but in reality we are just becoming more aware of how busy our mind actually is. Let these thoughts flow. Your mind is clearing. Your job is to keep negative, disruptive thoughts out. Any distractions can be sent out with a purifying exhale leaving only peace and quite or when the negative thoughts crop up, simply think, "Peace." Try this process for 3-4 days for short intervals until you find that by using the words, "Peace," "Silence," or "Be Still" you can stop the thought. Finally you will reach a truly meditative readiness. Your goal, now, is to achieve silence. What you will probably hear in your thoughts is the beating of your heart. You will probably be able to sit for longer periods of time. You may even nod off. It’s all good. You may ask yourself a question and find your thoughts answering it. Trust them, it is God speaking. You may get ideas and thoughts about things which seen totally impossible for you to accomplish. Act on what you are told and see how it manifests. Always know that God is with you, guiding you and protecting you and with that you will be fully dressed for success.
