To succeed you need to go through 4 main stages:

The actual outer work
Goal setting seems to be easy if you only think of the practical action steps, the outer work. Many people do this. Only a few achieve their goals.
How is this possible? They forget or don't know what's going in advance of goal setting. The beginning of success is invisible, let's take a look (although it's invisible ;-))
Invisible: preparing inner work
- receive - appreciation - relaxation -
Receiving means that you acknowledge and accept the current situation and take the full responsibility for it. Receive what you have got up until now. Don't ignore anything. Appreciate what you have got. Right or wrong, good or bad. If right and good, be happy with it, be grateful. If wrong or bad, learn from it so you can appreciate that too. Feel good, appreciate life, if necessary increase your self esteem. Then relax, relaxation is the best condition to know your real desires.
Invisible: the actual inner work
- desire - imagination - believe -
What are your real desires? what are they about? What do you long for the most? Do you have the personal qualities to achieve this? Who do you want to be? Imagine who you are and how it looks, sounds, feels, tastes, smells if you would have achieved this. When "yes, but....." thoughts or other doubts come up in your mind, it is a sign that you don't believe you could accomplish it. Write them down, make them positive, convince yourself you can do this, even you don't know yet how. And if you don't think this is work, try to look deep inside to find your real desires, focus on your imaginations and be convinced you can achieve them. With this conviction you will make your desires visible.
Visible: preparing outer work
- speak - research - plan -
You know what but you don't know how, yet. To know how you need information. Start to talk about your desires with people. You will met people who can help you, refer you, give you feed back. So you will get some ideas about the way you could achieve your goals. Do some more research; read books and magazines about the subject, surf the Internet like you did when you found this article. Now you've gathered all this information you can make several plans. There will be several ways to make your desires real so make several plans. Planning this way you will come across more possibilities.
Visible: the actual outer work
- decision making - action - persistence -
Now, finally, it is time to really set goals. First you make a decision about which of your plans will be the one you will perfume. Which one do you choose?
Then act. Just do it! Start. Act now.
Act now and persist. Persistence pays. Be ready for adversities but never give up. Your believe will be put to the test now.
And with receiving your success the circle is closed. You may be proud of yourself so don't forget to reward yourself. And if you want, you can start again.
