If you do any of your shopping online then follow these simple ideas to get what you want cheaper than ever.

I now do most of my shopping online for a number of reasons the two biggest being it so much easier than struggling round a shop physically and that by doing it online I can normally get the items cheaper. By incorporating the ideas in this article you too can shop more effectively by using cashback, comparison sites, discount voucher codes and cashback credit cards.

It seems obvious but do not use cashback for the sake of using cashback if the item is cheaper at a retailer that is not supported on a cashback site. Having said that there are a huge amount of cashback sites now out there and more appearing by the week - last count was just short of 100. So do a thorough check to ensure you are not missing out on some cashback by visiting some of the less well known cashback sites in addition to the regular sites.

Do a simple price comparison using Kelkoo or Shopping.com and you can ensure the item you want to buy is coming from the cheapest place and if you do those searches through a cashback site you will be earning cashback just to find this information out!

Once you have found the cheapest retailer for the item check which site has the best cashback rates available. These will vary wildly depending on the type of cashback site you are on and the deal they have done with the retailer so do some homework and check around. There are a few websites out there that do review a number of cashback sites which should help you do this.

Having found the best cashback site for your purchase, login, go to the retailer through the cashback site and purchase the item as normal. At the checkout you need to do two more things to maximise your shopping visit.

The first thing you will want to do is go and see if there are any discount vouchers available to put into the checkout at your retailer. If you do a little searching around you should be able to find something for pretty much every retailer you visit and save yourself even more money.

Lastly, why not pay for your item with your cashback credit card. This can save you up to another 5% so there really is no reason not to.

So there you have it. Use all of these steps and you will be saving a considerable amount of money each and every time you shop online.
