Young And In Search Of Happiness

We want to be happy, cheerful and feel good most of the time. However, we tend to get lost in thoughts, feel anxious and worried most of the time, especially so in managing urban lifestyles. Here are a few pointers, follow them and you will have a great time.

• Have "great" friends – You can have a lot of acquaintances, and you should have a few great friends, who can lift your spirits. You must feel happy just meeting them and they must as well. Make a quick list and cultivate these relationships.

• Love somebody – Being in love is probably the greatest kick that you will ever get in life. You must passionately like somebody for you to really feel like giving

• Eat hot & tasty food – You love road-side snack, which you think is hygienic, go ahead have titillate your taste buds. You will feel great after that. Eat a creamy ice-cream or devour a chocolate

• Be on time, but have spare time – Just be on time, don’t always hurry to be on time. Importantly, don’t pack your day with a thousand activities. Just have an hour here or there to surf, chat, smile, see, observe and take it easy.

• Go out of town – Just drive out with friends at least once in two months, go to a nearby place, just have lots of fun.

• Call your parents – Call your parents once every week and talk about the latest movie that you have seen

• Mortgage & Loans – Avoid buying fancy bikes, white goods, lands, houses early in your life. Often people advise to start early and build assets, but that kind of bogs you down with so many burdens that you have to keep working for a long time to own the asset. Possession will possess you and you will end up not possessing the possession.

• Credit Card - Have a credit card, comes of use in an emergency, but don’t over-spend, be cautious. Flashing a credit card easy, repaying is the toughest part.

• Career – Career is not about more money or title or what you are going to do next. Career is about what you are learning and the value that you are adding to the company and to yourself. Don’t be anxious over careers, go easy, and take one step at a time.

• Health – Very easy to let go, very difficult to regain. All it takes is 30 minutes of walking. Anything in moderation is good, excess leads to trouble

• Wants – Everybody wants most of the things. Don’t head the rat pack way, thoroughly enjoy what you have

• Music ¬ One of the best methods to de-stress. Switch on music, something which you enjoy the first thing when you get up

• Boss – There is nothing as a nice or bad boss. Managing your boss just doesn’t happen. Manage yourself and remember a boss is a boss. Having a good working relationship always helps.
