Spanning over 1700 acres of land, Round Rock Parks and Recreational department has developed over 34 parks. The different park facilities include: walking and jogging trails, playgrounds, port fields/ small complexes, picnic areas, BBQ grills, play courts (tennis/volleyball), open space, shelters/pavilions, benches, and clean restrooms. A lot of open space is available for you to do all your outdoor events and activities. the Rocking R water park at Old Settlers Park is a popular spot for kids of all ages.

It offers day camps, fitness and wellness programs, gymnastics programs, instructional classes, a Kid's Clubhouse, kinder dance lessons, recreational playrooms, sport camps, and even toddler programs.
Facilities include: 4 racquetball courts, 2 full basketball courts, Volleyball court, indoor swimming pool, cardio/weight room, game room, TV room, locker rooms, and a Madsen playroom. Here you can choose from various activities that promote a healthy lifestyle, equipped with quality exercise facilities and well-trained personnel.
There are also other programs available in the city, namely, golf, tennis, martial arts, gymnastics, yoga, Pilates, and swimming. You can also enroll in Spanish classes, and baby-sitting certification programs. Even toddlers can join computer classes, music classes, art classes, and cooking classes.
