There are many things that you may see when you are vacationing in Yosemite Park but the best may be the wildlife that you find there. What animals are there? Will they bother me? How do I track them safely?
What Animals Are There?
There are many different kinds of animals that you may see when you are lodging near Yosemite Park. These may include bears, elk, deer, hawks, and eagles that live in the area. They like this part of the country because they are safe here and no one can hurt them legally. You may even see a wolf or two because they were recently taken off the endangered animal list and are now wondering the area freely and with out restrictions. When you see these animals you want to stay back from them so that you don’t get hurt by them. If you are with a guide you need to listen to them because they will know more about the animals then you do and are able to keep you safe from them if they should respond in a way that is frightening.
Will They Bother Me?
Most animals will not bug you unless you start to bug them. If you use Yosemite Park lodging while you vacation there, then you won’t have any issues with the animals at night and will be able to see them in the daytime hours. This helps to keep the animals and the people seeing them safe from each other. If you are lodging near Yosemite but not in it, you may miss some of the creatures that visit the park at night. These are usually the funny ones like the raccoons and the owls that who in your ear. If you do get to hear and see these animals you should remember to stay safe and keep your distance from them. Many people have been hurt because they did not listen to the people around them and stay back. Take your time and walk slowly away from the animals if they show aggressiveness and pay attention to what is going on around you, so that you know how to get away and the best direction you should go if something goes wrong and you need to leave in a hurry.
There are many things to think about when you are lodging near Yosemite park but don’t want to stay there. If you are there looking at the animals, you need to pay attention to your surroundings and the people that are there to protect you. They want to keep you safe and you need to listen to the warnings that they may give you so that you can go home with a fun and rewarding experience to share. Your family may be with you when you visit the areas that these animals live in so you want to keep them safe too by listening to the guides and the warnings that they give you to keep you safe.
