I want to hit you hard with some enlightening facts, which hopefully will immediately change your life beginning today. I hope this article will not offend some of you.

Since you’re reading this article, I’m assuming there is something in your life you either want; wish to change; or both. Well I’m here to tell you that the only way you’re going to accomplish this is to decide; decide here and right now that today, this minute, you are committed to changing your life immediately, permanently, and you will not quit until you accomplish the lifestyle you chose for yourself.

Why is this so important? Because, there is one truth that none of us can escape……..and that is some day, we all are going to die. And when you truthfully grasp this fact, you can obtain clarity. Clarity in that no matter what you do in life, you are going to die and there is no escaping this fact. Knowing your end gives you great clarity….clarity to focus on what is truly important and special in your life. Knowing there is a deadline to accomplish what you want out of life is the best way to get even the worst procrastinator to finally take action.

Why must you take action now? Because (hopefully) you don’t know when your deadline is, and since it could be anytime, the only way to ensure you obtain what you truly want out of life is to take action immediately. People talk about how wasteful it is to throw away recyclable products, to consume energy needlessly……but what about the time we are wasting not living the lifestyle we all desire?

Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computer, gave an incredibly inspiring commencement speech at Stanford University in 2005. Here are some excerpts from that speech:

….."When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and

since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart………………….Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary…"

The clarity of knowing that you are going to die someday allows you to realize you have more to lose by not changing your life to obtain what you desire. This clarity is necessary for us to invoke action, massive action to get what you deserve. The primary fear that holds most people from taking that "leap of faith" towards starting their own business or taking the necessary action to build wealth is fear. Realizing your "ultimate" end result (death) allows you to put those "petty" fears most of us have into perspective, allowing us to free our creative spirits to pursue our dreams passionately and without questioning ourselves as to whether it is the right thing to do.
