Psychological factors always play a big role in the development of the disease or an undesirable condition in the body. Many psychiatrists and psychologists say that the brain is the central functioning system in the body. The brain instructs and sends messages to the different parts and organs of the body to do their tasks and functions. If there is something wrong with the brain, the messages that are supposed to be sent to these organs may not be sent or may be reversed. Sexual desire, erection, ejaculation and orgasms happen based on the messages sent by the brain. If the messages were not properly sent, one of these or none of these may be attained. Thus, it is very important to know how the brain works in this area and how the psychological causes of impotence affects the male genital function.
The routine of everyday life gives man stress. It may either be from work, family, community and even from simple things such as traffic or being late for work. This seems to be normal to everyone. However, what many do not know is that these simple things may cause some parts of the body to malfunction. To men, these things may be the psychological causes of impotence.
Once in a man’s lifetime, he may have experienced erection failure. This is not different from other body system failures. When a person is stressed, depressed, nervous or even angry, he doesn’t feel like doing anything or he could not do things properly and effectively. This is only in the mind though. The truth behind this is that parts of the body do not receive messages from the brain to do their tasks. This is the same thing with the penis. When something is psychologically wrong in a man, he may still feel sexual urges but the tasks are not carried out until the end because in the process of sending messages, a failure or failures occur. This is one of the psychological causes of impotence.
Because the psychological causes of impotence cannot be avoided, it is normal for men to experience occasional impotence. However, if these causes persist and are not stopped, the impotence condition may be aggravated causing a permanent impotence.
Knowing how the psychological causes of impotence work will help males control their psychological activities. Stress may easily be controlled by practicing a healthy lifestyle. Most stressed men tend to turn to alcohol and cigarette to temporarily escape from life’s turmoil. However, on the contrary to what many believe about alcohol and cigarettes, these do not alleviate stress, instead they aggravate the psychological disorders and worst may affect the physical nature of the body.
