The need for German translation is evident as German is a leading country in the world of business. It is the most important trade partner for almost all European and many non-European countries, and the third leading trade partner of the USA after Canada. For five years in a row, Germany is a major mover in the export scene as it is the second largest export nation after USA. In 2007, the country exported 940 billion US dollars worth of goods, ranging from cars to machinery and from industrial equipment to household goods.
Germany has the third largest economy in the world. With investments amounting to billions of dollars, German corporations have more than 2000 affiliates in the US and numerous more within Europe. It is without a doubt that Germany is the most influential country in Europe, and German as the established language for business in the European community. One can just imagine the volumes of documents each affiliate will produce daily that are written in various languages. Little wonder why many corporations in and outside Germany have a rising need for the service of German translation companies.
German translation is also needed in the electronic gadgets Germany sends to different countries. Germany is a nation committed in research and development. It is where one can find the brightest developers and innovators of technology. Germany have exported more high-tech products than any other country except US.
Aside from being the native tongue of more than 120 million people in Germany, Austria and other European countries, German is estimated to be spoke by eighty million more people worldwide for being an international language for business, publishing and scientific research. More people speak German as their primary language than any other language in Europe.
The need for German translation services are also needed in other business areas such as the Internet. German is the second most widely used language in the web. As a result, web site owners need German translation in order to build their business. The presence of Germans in the Internet is widely felt because they are highly innovative people. Germany has eight million Internet domains, with their top-level country domain .de ranking second to the extension .com.
Trade fairs are another business area German corporations are always actively involved in. Visiting different countries offering various products and services, German corporations need German translators to guide their trade partners in dealing with people and closing sales.
Translation services make it possible to convey ideas, belief, thoughts and dreams to people who have a different language and culture. German corporations who acquire the services of reputable German translation providers can expect to have a vibrant business relationship with their business partners, and expect their website to attract more readers and generate more sales. Translation enables companies to trade successfully in different countries, to reach a wide range of customers and to realize their full marketing potential.
A good German translation is what every German country needs. It can make the difference between winning or losing a deal, between enticing and losing a sale, and ultimately between being taken seriously or not.
