It is not difficult for many people to understand the concept of sowing seeds. Common garden seeds germinate if given just water and reasonably warm temperatures. Wild species usually have some kind of deeper dormancy to avoid sprouting in late summer or fall when the seeds are commonly dispersed. This assures that tender seedlings are not frozen at a young age by the approaching winter. Instead the seedlings do not appear until warm weather arrives in springtime. All of this has been divinely determined by the Creator of nature!

And, as is in the course of nature, in any seed that is sown, after having been properly cared for with cultivation and watering, the harvest is a reproduction in ‘abundance,’ especially if it is compared to the quantity of seed that was sown. For illustration, let’s consider corn. If corn kernels, most commonly known as "seeds" are sown into fertile soil, corn stalks will grow. On those corn stalks will be ears of corn and those ears of corn will be filled with an abundance individual kernels of corn. A kernel exactly like the one that was sown!

We humans are products of seeds that were sown. Within each one of us is a store house of various kinds of seeds. These internal seeds cannot be felt or touched by a human hand, however, the manifestations of those seeds are in great abundance in our daily lives. These internal seeds are those that have been sown, have germinated, sprouted, grown and are now producing the "fruit" that affect our lives, manifesting in the development of our character and individual personalities. These seeds are the ones that, whether positively or negatively, also affect other people.

From the positive aspect a seed is anything that blesses another person. Forgiveness is a seed. Kindness is a seed. Time is a seed.

And, materialistically speaking our money is seed too.

So many people suffer as a result of lack of money. However, sadly, few have been taught to view money as a seed and the necessity of "sowing" this seed that would enable them to reap the harvest they need that would, in turn, enable them to have a better life.

Did you ever stop to think of how many kinds of blessings are there in Holy Writ? There are fifty-eight (58) to be exact!

And, speaking of the number ‘58’ there are specific harvests to be found in Isaiah 58: (Reading From Today’s English Version)

  • Favor – Health – Protection: "My favor will shine on you like the morning sun, and your wounds will be quickly healed. I will always be with you to save you; my presence will protect you. I will answer you."(verse 8).

  • Guidance – Provision: "I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep you strong and well. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring of water that never goes dry." (verse 11).

  • Restoration Of Your Homes: ". . . rebuild what has been in ruins, building again on the old foundations. You will be known as the people who rebuilt the walls, who restored the ruined houses." (verse 12).

In Holy Writ, 331 times, we are told: "If you do this, this is what will happen!"

Holy Writ is a book about decisions.

Make no mistake about it: right decisions are positively rewarded!

You can expect a financial harvest from every single financial see that you sow!

"Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you give, it shall be measured to you again." (Luke 6:38)

Make the decision TODAY to find a worthy cause, commit to be a financial partner and help support, sowing your financial seeds. And look for, "expect" a HARVEST!
