American comedian, actor, and writer Jerome Seinfeld was born April 29, 1954 in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City to Jewish parents. Kalman, his father was of Hungarian Jewish and Betty, his mother, had a Syrian Jewish background. After Massapequa High School, Jerry Seinfeld attended the State University of New York at Oswego in upstate New York but transferred out to Queens College after a few semesters.www.ticketmayor.com. The Jerry Seinfeld Chronicles with Larry David was created in 1989 for NBC and was later renamed Seinfeld. By its fourth season the show was the most popular and successful sitcom on American television. Jerry Seinfeld played a caricature of himself and said that the show was inspired by the 1950s sitcom The Abbott and Costello Show. Jerry Seinfeld returned to stand-up comedy and went on tour in 1998 and recorded a comedy special entitled 'I'm Telling You for the Last Time'. With a highly acclaimed stand-up routine, he was ranked #12 in Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.

Often described as an observational comedian, Jerry Seinfeld has written a few books, mostly archives of past routines. Seinfeld is also rumored to be working on a collaboration book with Stephen King and completed the forewords to Ted L. Nancy's Letters From A Nut series of books and Ed Broth's Stories From A Moron. As there authors are mysteriously missing from the limelight, they are somehow considered to be connected to Seinfeld in some way. He wrote a children's book titled Halloween in 2002 and the foreword to the Peanut Butter & Co. Cookbook, from his favorite sandwich shop in New York City. Slated to be released in early November, 2007, the Dreamworks animated movie 'Bee Movie' is going to be Seinfeld's debut film. He will voice the main character, a bee who discovers that humans are stealing the honey in his hive, Barry B. Benson and later falls for another bee, Vanessa, voiced by Renee Zellweger.
