For those who love shock comedy, there is nothing like Andrew Dice Clay tickets. This comedian from Brooklyn, New York has been making audiences laugh for decades with his unique outlook on live. He is in a class of his own having sold out Madison Square Garden two nights in row. This "Rocky of Comedy" has a personal life as sketchy and colorful as his standup routines.
He started out his career as an actor and appeared in a few low-budget films like Private Resort and Making the Grade. He was also in a few shows like MASH. His career as an actor never completely took off as much as his standup career did. His act as "Diceman" was a hit with audiences who loved his vulgar jokes and dirty nursery rhymes. He also has a macho-man image with a signature black leather jacket and lit cigarette accompanying him in many of his stage appearances. His shocking comedy has not always gotten Clay laughs, however. He was banned on MTV after a raunchy live performance. He has also had studios like 20th Century Fox cancel contracts after some of his more controversial acts. Through it all, he has remained true to his fans and himself by sticking to his unique brand of humor that paved the way for acts like Dave Chappell and shows like South Park.
Clay has also had numerous TV and movie appearances since gaining notoriety though standup. His movie credits include Whatever It Takes, The Good Life and My 5 Wives. His TV appearance include Diff’rent Strokes and Saturday Night Live. He even had his own reality show on VH1 called Dice Undisputed.
Clay also has an interesting personal life, and few would have guessed otherwise. He was married to his first wife, Kathleen Swanson for two years in the 1980s and calls the union a "Horror Show." He remarried in 1992 to Kathleen Monica and the two have two sons together, Dillon and Maxwell. While he was still married to Monica, he became engaged to his current fiancée, Eleanor Kerrigan. Kerrigan is former female wrestler and now performs standup with Clay.
Andrew Dice Clay may be shocking, but he sure is funny. His combination of comedic talent and raw presentation has kept fans coming back for decades’ worth of shows. Don’t miss your chance to see him when he comes to a venue near you and get Andrew Dice Clay tickets today.
