I think the real underlying question is this - does a cheap PSP console represent an increased risk to the buyer. Is the cheapest PSP console you can find likely to be a dud that leaves you paying more for repairs than you would have paid for a full priced PSP at your local mall or shop?

Obviously any purchase carries a degree of risk but there are many factors at play in the market place that make finding a cheap PSP console a worthwhile exercise.

The internet has dramatically altered the playing field and now just about anyone can compete selling items with the traditional brick and mortar businesses - the barriers of entry have been swept away on a tide of e commerce.

This is both good and bad news for the buyer looking for a cheap PSP console. The good news is that just about anyone can sell you a cheap PSP console over the internet at a really good price because of a range of factors discussed below. The bad news of course is that just about anyone can sell you a cheap PSP over the internet at a really good price - because they stole it, it is a reject, it is a copy etc etc.

The honest internet seller will sell you a cheap PSP console that is the same as any PSP console you would buy from a reputable dealer because of several possible factors including (a) his lower overheads, (b) he is stuck with stock he needs to move or (c) he is selling a used or second hand PSP console that is fully functional but is not brand new. In all these cases you are likely to save a fair bit of money by buying over the internet.

The dishonest internet seller still exists but life is getting evermore difficult for them and they are unlikely to be able to operate for long before being outed.

So what should you look for when searching online for your cheap PSP console?

a) Stick to the well known auction sites - these often have really cheap PSP consoles for sale, sometimes as low as a few dollars.

b) Check the sellers history if at all possible. Many reputable internet sites like eBay offer a feedback facility for buyers to comment on the seller.

c) Make personal contact with the seller and find out the reason for selling. If the person is running a business and not just trying to offload an unwanted present, then he or she is going to want to protect their reputation by offering a good service.

So the bottom line is that it is a fact - you can buy a A Cheap PSP Console , you just need to know where to look and what to check before you buy!
