Cats are a delightful animal, now that’s an opinion that is bound to change the minute you bring one into your home. I am a cat lover but I also happen to know how cats can get when they are in that ‘mood’. The minute you bring a new cat into your home, things are bound to start happening. Either your cat will accept the new surroundings, new rules and accept it meekly. Or it will tend to show off, which is more often the case than not. Managing a cat is not as easy as it sounds, for a housecat can do quite a lot of damage within a short span of time. I should know, having had most of my expensive furniture converted to scratching posts and boundary markers. Understanding and training the cat go hand in hand. Of the million odd books on teaching a cat to behave itself, the Complete Cat Training by Paula Robb should be quite helpful.
The Complete Cat Training by Paula Robb provides you with all the basic training lessons that you would ever require in order to ‘housetrain’ your cat. Unlike dogs, cats do not like the leash and so if you were planning on trying that out, desist right away. This book should provide you with all the right information that you would ever need on training the cat to fixing behavior related problems. The Complete Cat Training is more like a guide on housecats, from training your cats to learning how to make them listen to you.
Some cats act out more often than not, often the key to their aggressive behavior stems from a new environment, e.g. like a new house. The Complete Cat Training should be able to help you cope with this issue as well as it provides pointers on how to calm them down. The book comes with a nutritional plan for your cat so that it eats healthy and does not take to resembling ‘Garfield’. The book provides cat obedience methods used by professional cat trainers, so that should come in handy as well. This book is written in a very easy to understand format and comes with many handy illustrations.
The Complete Cat Training is currently being offered with a free bonus of free in-house counseling regarding your cat headaches. The key to most cat related problems is to try and understand as to why they are upset in the first place. Cats are a bit like porcelain, both need to be handled with care and dedication. This e-book should help you to do exactly that!
