Are You A Practical Joker?

With the economic downturn, the war and an uncertain future these are stressful times. It has also been able to defuse stressful situations in the work place. Many emergency room nurses say they use humor to help them cope with the stress of their jobs.

What better way to have a good belly laugh than some good old fashioned practical joking.

Great advice. People need to be proactive in their use of humor now more than ever! Practical jokes can be a great way to achieve this. Bottom line--think safety. Will anyone be hurt physically or emotionally. If not--go for it! Karyn Buxman Journal of Nursing Jocularity
