People have become dependent on sexual performance-enhancing products since they were invented. A good example would be men's erection pills. Without it, people having concerns with erectile dysfunction would be left with no hope of ever having an erection again. The same case goes with other performance-related sexual concerns, like frigidity and premature ejaculation. But now, more and more people are finding out that there are other ways to improve sexual health without the need for medications.
Yoga has been practiced since ancient times. While some yogis (yoga practitioners) incorporate abstinence as part of their practice, some yogic lineages are tantric. Tantric principles recognize the body to be an important part of one's spirituality, and all functions connected to the body are just as respected.
Tantric teachings won't work if the practitioner does not accept his own body for what it is and if the practitioner chooses to have a closed mind on things. Tantric teachings deal with loving the body as it is and being comfortable with the body as a whole. Also a part of tantric yoga is keeping an open mind. It's not about setting ground rules on what you like and don't like, it's about discovering what you want on your own and accepting those things without reservations. Letting go of your own judgment will help you learn more about yourself in terms of what is fulfilling both to you and your partner.
Tantric yoga poses and exercises are aimed at improving anal and genital muscle performance, as well as improving the condition of a person's respiratory tract. When done properly, tantric yoga practices can stimulate physiological functions of the anal and genital muscles. This, in turn, will correct muscle weakness in the anal and genital region. Practicing tantric yoga will increase sexual drive and abilities. But more than just enhancing sexual abilities, tantric yoga can help revitalize the body and improve lung health.
