How To Lose the Pregnancy Fat

Bringing home a new addition to the family is a wondrous thing. But how are you going to remove that addition that you aren't so thrilled about- the additional pounds you see on the scale and the additional inches you can feel around your belly, thighs, face and butt? How on earth are you going to lose the pregnancy fat?
Everywhere we look we see the promises of miracle diets, wonder pills or magic formulas that will supposedly make us lose our pregnancy fat and extra weight easily and without effort. However when we look around, we see that more than 65% of the population is still overweight. So what's the problem?
Most diets don't work because they are really hard, unhealthy or extremely costly. Some diets require you to eat specially prepared processed foods that you have to buy, or they call for foods that you have never heard of, let alone know how to prepare. Just pick up any diet book and look at the recipes. The complication of these menus is enough to make you want to go bury your head in the fridge for comfort. Also, some diets require you to eliminate entire food groups or stick to a specific food for a long period of time. Not only is this hard to do because it is unhealthy and so the body will revolt against this abuse with extremely strong cravings, but it is boring and a sure setup for failure.
If you really want to know how to lose that pregnancy fat, the first thing you need to do is learn how dieting works and how your body reacts to different foods and exercises. When we don't understand how something works we tend to be skeptical that it really WILL work. How many times have you started a diet, wondering if it will work for you? If you doubt it will work, or that you can stick to it, then how successful do you think you will be?
A good dieting program should teach you:
• What kinds of food to eat for maximum weight loss,
• When to eat for maximum weight loss,
• How to trick your body into feeling full,
• Proper portioning so that your body will burn more calories,
• Which muscles you should build that will blast your fat away and
• How to train your mind for long term weight loss
Once you have learned these things, you will see that losing fat isn't really all that hard. You don't have to feel hungry all the time. You don't have to deprive yourself of foods you enjoy. It doesn't have to take months and months. Actually, if you stick to a good program without cheating, you should be able to lose the pregnancy fat at the rate of 4-5 lbs per week. And if your program allows you to eat enough to not feel hungry and gives you mental motivation as well, you won't cheat.
Once you know the difference between fat loss FACTS, and fat loss MYTHS that actually work AGAINST your efforts, you will be on your way to losing the pregnancy fat much faster than you ever thought possible.
