Immersion, by the student, into a country's language and culture is by far the best way to learn any language and Spanish is no exception. Some would say that primarily, to gain a good grip of learning Spanish, a good understanding of grammar is required, however learning and being able to converse and communicate first makes learning Spanish so much more enjoyable and many believe that this is now the best way to learn Spanish or any other language for that matter.

There are many reasons why one should learn Spanish, from giving yourself further job opportunities in the many bi-lingual fields currently available such as the service industries, nursing, marketing etc. or maybe you would just like to enhance your intelligence further. There are also a few cheap methods to help you learn Spanish that are fairly enjoyable; one of these is watching Spanish movies, firstly with subtitles in English and then without, never forget though that learning Spanish isn't always easy and can be challenging but you will also find that it will be very rewarding.

I personally started learning Spanish using self tuition books, and although they did give me a structured study path and a text book education into the grammar of the language they sadly lacked the interaction I felt I required to fully grasp the Spanish language; it wasn't until after speaking to a friend and fellow student of Spanish and listening to how well he was speaking Spanish, compared to myself, that I realised where I was going wrong.

My friend informed me that he had ditched the books, not completely as they were still useful, and was now taking an interactive online Spanish program instead; and he added that not only was the program an inexpensive way to learn Spanish but that it was a far more enjoyable way to go about learning Spanish as well. Needless to say I was intrigued and decided to check it out for myself and my friend was one hundred percent right.

For me, enjoyment comes top of the list, if I'm not enjoying what I'm doing why would I want to continue doing it and then comes quality for a good price; you must find a course that offers excellent course material for an excellent price, anything under $100 is a great deal especially when the top of the range courses can reach the dizzy heights of $500 plus, but remember you will also need to check out the quality of course material provided; there is no point making a saving by spending $100 if the course material is garbage.
