It is no surprise today that Dubai has become the most favorite career destination of skilled and qualified professionals. The main reason is the highly-paying jobs that one can land in Dubai. Other than this also, there are many other benefits of working in Dubai that are attracting the world population to come and work in Dubai. People feel that once they have worked for a few years in Dubai, it would settle them financially for life. This is also not untrue to an extent. Thus, people vie to get a job in Dubai and seek it actively through various means.
Dubai is undoubtedly one of the wealthiest and fastest growing cities in the UAE. The fast pace of development in the city has given birth to a large number of jobs in various sectors and has attracted expatriate workers from across the world. Thus, Dubai today has an exciting, multi-cultural mix of young, vibrant, and professional people who have come here enjoy the enviable lifestyle and salaries. Owing to its multi-cultural environment, Dubai is also a very welcoming city. The foreign population is growing very fast and everything is being done to make them feel at home.
Jobs are available across market sectors that include IT, construction, finance, hospitality, tourism, engineering, medical, teaching etc. There are multi-national companies in the region that offer high profile jobs and competitive salaries to attract foreign workforce into Dubai. Thus, if you are also one of those looking to make a move to the land of sun, sand and money, there are a few things that you need to know. To work and to live in Dubai, you have to follow a certain process and set of rules. However, if you are a qualified professional, there are not many constraints that you would have to face to work in Dubai.
First and foremost, to live and work in Dubai, you would require a resident visa. For this, you have to either buy a property in Dubai or get your employer to sponsor you. Generally, your employer would sponsor you and arrange for your work permit and stay in Dubai. You can visit Dubai on a Visit Visa and hunt for a job. Once you land a job, you can directly get the visa transferred or re-enter the country. Usually, your employer/sponsor would guide you on this and effectively plan your next move to be legally able to work in Dubai. If your family has to accompany you to Dubai, you would require a family residence visa that lets you sponsor your spouse, children and parents. For a family residence visa, your minimum salary must be 4,000 Dirham a month.
The top benefit of working in Dubai is that one does not have to pay any taxes to the government. Whatever you earn is for yours to keep. This leads up to huge savings while working in Dubai. Not just this, to attract foreign talent, employers generally offer above average salaries. So, there is double benefit in working in Dubai. One, you get a higher salary and two; you do not have to pay any tax.
Not just high salary, with a good job in Dubai, there are loads of perks and reimbursements that accompany. Generally, you will get a housing allowance with your compensation. This is a big benefit considering that rents are sky-high in Dubai. So, while comparing any two job offers in Dubai, consider it in mind whether an employer is offering this allowance or not. Also, one gets commute reimbursements, paid parking and last but not the least, at least one fully paid airfare back home. This is irrespective of wherever you are from. Your employer is legally bound to pay for your one visit home. All this has to be negotiated at the time of accepting the job offer but it should not be a problem if you are an educated and qualified person.
Combined to these benefits is the international experience that you would earn while working in Dubai. With this experience, you can hope to land good jobs anywhere across the world. In Dubai, you will work with the best brains in the world and get an exposure to the most professional working styles. Add to this, the quality that you can look forward to enjoy in Dubai. The buildings that you work in, the instrument that you use would be more often than not state-of-the-art. Dubai is an aesthetically and architecturally evolved city. So, if you are a lover of good things, you would enjoy working here. Apart from work, there is so much else to do. You can indulge yourself in the pure pleasures of living in a world city. Shopping, the nightlife, restaurants, hotels, sports, whatever recreational activities you want, you will get here. So, just pack your bags, get your documents in place and be ready for a dream job in Dubai.
