These jobs can also pay very well, and are usually not as traumatic in less urban areas. Other types of nursing jobs are all about patient care, but they can vary in how hard they are to handle. Those that do not want to see too much suffering, but still want to help people can find great jobs in doctors offices. These can be hectic, but generally not that bad in the way of trauma. For a bit more uncertainty, some can work in hospitals and nursing homes as floor nurses. These types of nursing jobs can be very hard when people are dying right before your eyes. Some love to be there, however, to make someone's last moments as comfortable as possible.

There are varied types of nursing jobs, as you can tell. You may find one that you can do without feeling overwhelmed with the emotions that can sometimes go along with this profession. Some of the nursing jobs pay very well, and others not as much, but there is always work out there for nurses no matter how bad the economy may get.
