Vomiting in dogs is a pet health condition that is a reaction or a symptom of an underlying disease such as cancer, diarrhea etc. During vomiting the dog will throw out all the food inside his stomach. What Is Vomiting?
As mentioned above, vomiting is a symptom caused by various different conditions. Generally, most cases of vomiting tend to correct themselves within a few days. If you have pet health questions such as why is my dog vomiting or if you think that your dog is vomiting frequently, you must seek a vet’s advice. It’s normal for dogs to vomit and/or regurgitate what they eat once or twice a month. Just like in humans, a couple of bouts of vomiting are normal and can even be considered as healthy behavior as it helps the dog to cleanse his system by throwing out food that doesn’t agree with him. This action to remove the unwanted substances from the body to restore bodily and pet health by the acting of vomiting also helps eliminate toxins.

Types of Vomiting And Treatment
There are two types of vomiting: acute and chronic.
Acute Vomiting: a common occurrence in dogs doesn’t affect pet health and can be treated at home by feeding bland diet or several mini meals until vomiting stops. Herbs such as Aloe Vera or Ulcinex help to sooth the stomach and restore pet health.
Chronic Vomiting: if vomiting continues of more than 3-5 days, it’s called chronic vomiting. Pet health needs to be observed carefully and medical tests need to be carried out. Stopping the production of acid in the tummy of the pet can help improve digestion and restore pet health. Again herbs and nutraceuticals can help heal the stomach and aid digestion.
