The second, which is mostly for those who want to make it one step farther, is to download the Wordpress installer, and upload and set it up on your own web hosting service.

Registering is, of course, short and easy. And once you’re logged in you’ll heave you own Dashboard from you can create and manage as many blogs as you can handle. The Dashboard is very user-friendly, easy to understand and navigate. before long, you’ll find yourself immersed in modifying your site’s look and feel.

When you feel you’re ready to move on your own and discover more of Wordpress’ power, you’ll want to download it and install the script in your very own web hosting and with your own personal domain name. Most of today’s hosting services are actually loaded with a system called Fantastico where you can install various scripts and applications - including Wordpress - on the fly.
