However, not with the full bass and full rounded tones of a good quality alarm clock CD ., I am sure you would feel a lot better hearing the rich base sounds of your favorite piece of music over the scratchy hollow sound of the clock radio. There is really no credible choice between the two for me. The bonus difference between the two is that you can select a particular piece of music with the CD player, but you can't do that with the radio.
