With so many PLR available why waste your time?

I write a lot about the fact (yes, it's an established fact) that a good site should provide regularly fresh content to their readers.?

Like many other experts out there, a good recommendation is to write an article of about 500 words at least twice a week. Personally, I write a new article everyday and I make sure that it's of at least 700 words.

To many people, this sounds like an impossible task for many reasons:

  • They are too lazy to do it.

  • They are too busy to do it.

  • They don't know how to write.

  • They don't know what to write about.

Most of those people will fall in the category of the people too lazy to do it; I can't help you with that, just read a self improvement book or so. For the people who are too busy; get some course on time management.

For the people who don't know (or think that they don't know) how to write content let me tell you straight away that you don't need to be a journalist or professional writer to put up an article. In fact, most of the people who read my posts like the fact that it's written in a more personal way.

For the people who don't know what to write about, we usually recommend you to work in your niche of expertise. By that I mean a niche that not only you are good at, but also a niche that you like. Yes most of the people are scared at the idea of putting 500 words or so together, not only one time, but say like me, everyday...

In my case, I do wonder sometimes what I should write about, but truly it's not really because I lack of ideas, I just wonder what my readers would be interested in. 500 words may sounds a lot, well I set my daily target to 700 words.

Sometimes, I get scared because of that. I have plenty of topics I want to write about but I always worry that I won't have 500 words to talk about it, let alone 700 words. The truth is that once I started to write, the words keeps flowing and flowing until I realize that I should stop because I'm already way over the 700 words mark!

Anyway, is there any other alternative to writing your own content?

There are 2 to my knowledge (I won't include illegal ones):

  • Hire a Ghostwriter.

  • Use PLR.

Well, if you plan to publish a fresh content everyday like I do, hiring a ghostwriter will set you back a lot of money! So really forget about it!

PLR, articles and document that have fallen in the Public License Right seem to be your saviors, or are they?

What is so good about PLR:

  • You don't have to write your own content.

  • You have the right to use them, modify them, publish them, do whatever you want with them.

What is so bad about PLR:

  • You are using the same content as 374,383,593 other people.

  • The articles are of poor quality.

Yes, by the time you get your hands on PLR article, rests assure that 95 that makes real money) also have them. Did I mentioned before that Google and the search engines in general don't like duplicated content?

Oh my mistake... I forgot the content modifier software and article spinner... Let me ask you, have you tried any of those before, because I did (yes I was young and inexperienced). Most of them are very bad because they just stuff keywords in the articles, others like article spinners are better because they can help you make your PLR article about 60% original, but yet again if you read the article output you got, the quality is not so great...

Another point is that the time it takes to spin an article to obtain one of poor quality is the same amount of time that it takes me to write one of quality.

Think about it. Those PLR and spin articles are great to fool the search engines, but they won't fool your readers.

Are you there to fool your readers or to provide them quality content?

To your success!
