The Bloodhound breed is the best tracker of the dog species. It is used by authorities worldwide for tracking wanted criminals. It has an extremely strong sense of smell rivaled by none. A balanced diet coupled with a daily workout routine for bloodhounds is a needed. Doing so will prevent it from developing a disease known as Hip Dyplasia. Keeping it under control with a firm but gentle hand should be observed. It is a rather cheerful dog, so keeping it that way would help with your relationship with it.
