The dog comes in various colors, although the dog is usually white with a hint of brown or tan. The dog is also small. The dog stands up to twelve inches in height. The Chinese introduces the Shih Tzu in Europe in 1930. The dog grew in popularity in Europe. After the World War II, the American military brought the dogs to America. Around 1969, the American Kennel Club registered the dog breed.
