There is something that can ruin your dating life or overall love life and annihilate all of your potential relationships before they have even happened. This is shyness. You might find yourself at the better part of your life, at the age of fifty and still a bachelor and no date at sight. The sooner you arrest your shyness factors, the sooner you will start enjoying the fruits of loving relationship and you might also find that partner your heart has been craving for. The woman can be forgiven for being shy, but the man cannot. Women are after confident men, men who can take control of situations and make things happen. Otherwise if you are one of those people who can not even make their mind on the dessert for the evening, or even appreciate their female date for that dress she is wearing, a person who can easily drop dead incase the woman surprises him with a kiss; then you need help and fast! Otherwise you can rare yourself for a long spell of bachelorhood.

Women who are shy during their dating might not take the road that men who are shy fall on. They can find a dating partner who seems to take control of the conversation, and most of all, the rest of the evening, as you are left to just accept the proceedings. Things might go well and you might find yourself a date and person to start a relationship with, but there is a catch. Shy women attract sadistic men, who are inclined in controlling them such that they are always answering at their every whim. You might find yourself in a relationship that will bring you misery and pain, rather than love, tender care and kindness. Think about it. A confident woman will automatically send signals to the man that she is in control of her faculties and life, and incase the guy had other thoughts apart from pure dating that could lead to bigger things in terms of a relationship, then he can back off!

The first thing you can do is go for therapy. It works! The good thing with a therapist is that he/she can help you to identify what the causes of your shyness can be. The session will lead you towards the right direction as you understand yourself. It is from this point that the session with the therapist will shed more light on the inherent causes of the shyness, as well as isolating the true causes and giving you the best ways to confront the phobia you have about dating, and even how to really overcome it forever. The best thing so far is that, the counselor is a human being and understands your true feelings. This is the reason as to why he/she would help instill confidence in you, and how you can start to trust yourself in facing issues of intimate nature, beginning from within.

The last thing as a shy person in dating instances you want in your life is sticking with those friends whom you have been around with for ages, yet none of them has been ready to help you overcome your state, yet they are the best people to aid you, since they know you like the back of their hand. It’s time to get better friends and good role models, as you throw away your inactive life to a confident building active life. Shyness will be a thing of the past.
