Do you love dating? Do you love dating advice to up your game or to work your way up to a meaningful relationship? So does everyone else out there.

You may just love going out and having fun or you could be looking for the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. Everyone dates for their own purposes, but there are some things to keep in mind before going out there and getting your date on:

  • Your date could be great. Or it could be awful. Either way, treat your date with respect and stick around, even if you're 100 percent certain that you're not right for each other. You wouldn't like to be bailed out on in the middle of a date either, would you?

  • You are probably not the biggest catch in the sea, so why act like it? don't act like you're better than your date or flaunt your past love history. It's not going to make them like you any more than they already do, and it's definitely not going to make them fall in love with you.

  • Show an active interest in your date. Make eye contact and ask questions. If you're looking for love, dating advice like this is going to get you somewhere. Ask your date about their interests, work, favorite things, whatever. Just show that you are interested in them, and not in showing them everything about you.

  • Almost nothing is a bigger turn off than a date who will not shut up about themselves.

  • Don't take phone calls from your friends in the middle of a date. It's disrespectful, and if you're trying to make an impression, talking to your friends about the great time you had last night while your date sits there in silence is not going to make a good one. Only answer the phone if it's something important. Your date is not going to be impressed with the amount of friends you have calling you all the time.

  • Don't complain. About anything. Complaining conveys to the person you're on a date with that you're high maintenance and hard to please. Who wants to give someone an impression like that? Keep your conversations on the positive and don't focus on the bad things. A little bit of effort on this goes a long way.

All's fair in love and war, right? Wrong. It's easy to accidentally upset or offend a date if you're not careful and it's all too easy to chuck it up to being their fault, when it's entirely possible that it's your fault instead. If you're looking for some fun or love, dating advice like this is easy to follow and will almost always yield good results.
