Anyone who knows me would absolutely be blown away to hear the above statement fly from my lips.

My Story...

I woke up this morning very upset about a lot of things and the first thought I had was "Change really sucks." I then broke up the pity party and realized that, yeah, change does suck at times, but so what? That's reality!!! That's the way it is. For me, change is all about having an attitude of positive expectancy. Change is coming no matter what you do or say. Some will be rough and some will be absolutely thrilling. You must believe and accept the notion that life does balance things out. Black and white, left and right, Good and bad, short and tall, hot and cold and on and on.

If you could find the" way", that does exist inside of you by the way, to embrace change, you will find peace. You will feel the enormous power of having control of your life and being able to accomplish goals you never thought possible. How do you find that magic "way"? There is no physical solution nor is there a book or guru that has THE secret and there certainly is no magic.

How about the FACT is , you already have the tool to build the "way"… That tool is self control of your thoughts. How you think will set you free. Remember that morning or mornings that there was no way you felt like going to school or to work ? How about the time you wanted to tell your boss or co- worker to shove it ? But you did and you didn’t….Think about how you were able to put a leash on those thoughts and get on with your life. THINK!!!

It was your" MINI ME"….That little pain that runs around in your beautiful head causing you all kinds of grief. It’s HIS/HER fault . You need to grab that Mini Me and take control.

Take control of what pops into your conscious mind. Decide what to do with each thought. Give it a home? Treat it like a guest who will be leaving soon? Treat it as an intruder and rip it’s lungs out? How about locking it in the closet until you feel like dealing with it later after you relax? It’s in your hands. It’s your MINI ME.

The Bottom Line…..

You have only two options:

1 - Fight change and turn your world upside down or

2 - Embrace and accommodate change and live an emotionally exciting life.

The next most important step in embracing change is that you must accept reality... You must. THAT'S RIGHT, YOU MUST... This is the most important attitude you need to develop in your life as soon as possible. You must get real with yourself.

Positive Expectancy is about maintaining unwavering faith that you can and will prevail in the end regardless of the difficulties, AND, at the same time, have the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.

This attitude will put you on the path to living a full wonderful life. You must believe that life is not out to get you.

IT JUST IS WHAT IT IS!!!

My Positive Expectancy Credo:

"Today is hell... but I know I'm due a great day to balance it out. I will hang in there. I know I will make it. I know I'll be ok. Tomorrow I can start all over again".

With that kind of thinking, hope and excitement will be the feelings you wake up with every morning. You just never know what tomorrow will bring. It could be your lucky day…and chances are…it will be.

Embrace Change and see the world open up to you.

Never give up... Never, Ever.

Give up what? HOPE...

Hope will set you free.
