President Barrack Obama, who is currently the 44th President, owns a Portuguese Water Dog. It was a gift from the Kennedy Family. His name is Bo. The name means handsome in French. Bo has thick black curly fur except the two front paws. It is white. Bo looks like it is wearing a white boots. Although the breed has thick fur, the breed is considered hypoallergenic. The paws are naturally web feet. The breed is meant for swimming. The breed tremendously helps the Portuguese fishermen.

President George W. Bush, who served as the 43rd president from 2001 to 2009, owns Barney and Spot Fletcher. Barney is a Scottish Terrier, whereas Spot Fletcher is an English Springer Spaniel. Yuki is a Japanese dog name which means blessing or snow. Since Blanco is a white Collie, the President names the Collie as Blanco.
