Mini-booklet sizes: The mini booklet size comes in really small dimensions. It is basically the size of a booklet that can fit into a well sized pocket. The common dimension for this is a 6 x 4 inch booklet, but some even print smaller booklets of custom sizes for custom booklet printing. These kinds of booklets are usually used for quick reference content or small content for mass distribution. For example they can be small novenas, or prayer books, instructional guides for small gadgets like watches or they can even be used as primers for gatherings and conferences. If your booklet needs to be given to a mass audience and it has a short and concise content, then the small mini booklet sizes should be your best choice.
Standard sizes: Now for the mainstream booklet printing jobs you use the standard sizes. This can come in various sizes from the big letter-sized booklet measuring 11 by 8.5 inches, to the smaller half sized 8.5 by 5.5 inches. Some others even use a long type 6 by 9 inch booklet size which looks almost like a brochure.
These standard sizes are basically used for all your run of the mill booklet printing. They can be your instruction manuals, tutorial guides, event programs, story booklets and all the other uses for booklets. The basic rule of use here is that if you have a decent amount of information to give that also includes images and objects then the standard booklet size should apply. Of course there are several variations of the booklet dimensions, and you may probably want to use the long booklet type if you want a brochure type booklet.
Enlarged prints: Lastly we have the enlarged prints. These are the booklets that are made to be noticed and distributed. Usually booklets like this are fixed at around a 12 by 12 inch dimension, or some can come at a little smaller 12 by 9 inches. These enlarged type color booklets are usually used for promotional prints and catalogs. Anything that needs to be noticed and understood quickly should basically have this size for their booklet. With all that space in this kind of booklet a person can store lots and lots of information in it including full page pictures, complex graphs and even large diagrams. If your booklet needs to contain this type of information then you may want to think about enlarging your booklets.
