Control sweat with antiperspirants. If you are having the problem of excess sweating, please consult your doctor who will suggest other methods such as botox injections and other methods. Washing body with antibacterial soap is a good idea. Keep skin dry as much as possible and change clothes that may be been worn while you had sweat because clothes continue to carry sweat producing bacteria until they are washed.

Please consult your doctor if you suddenly break into cold sweat. That may be emotional in origin or physical. Similarly if you find a sudden change in body odor, you should tell your doctor about that. You may suffer some problems if you sweat excessively compared to others. Your toenails may develop fungal infections. Athlete’s foot may be another problem, as may be jock itch. Antiperspirants help control your sweat production. For those who have trouble with perspiration, you will need to purchase your antiperspirants. These products usually have a main (active) ingredient that is aluminum based. Two of the more common active ingredients are aluminum chloride and aluminum hydoxybromide. The aluminum in the compound is what helps to control your sweat production. The aluminum ions are absorbed into the openings of your sweat glands and water enters the ions.

The human sweat is a mixture of water and sodium chloride which is the main constituent of the table salt. The sweating in human beings is controlled by the vegetative nervous system which is also known as the Sympathetic Nervous System. The main function of human sweating is for temperature control, in animals like dogs it is achieved through panting. There are two human sweat glands that produce sweat for different purposes and the composition is also different.

Drink at least seven glasses water everyday. Or better still, drink beyond the point of thirst. Plain water is also a good way to detoxify our body and helps to control your excessive underarm sweating problem per se.

Daily hygiene rituals also play a major role in causing excessive sweating in adults and teenagers alike. While majority of the population take their hygiene habits as a daily routine, those people who are suffering from excessive sweating are facing a challenge in keeping themselves dry and odor-free in most parts of the day.

A process called iontophoresis can also help in controlling sweating problems. A special machine is designed to help you stop excessive body sweating by using electrically charged ions in the skin to regulate the activity of sweat glands. Your doctor can advise you on the proper use of the said machine.

To control the odor, soak your feet several times a week in one-third cup of apple cider vinegar added to a small pan of warm water. Mix one teaspoon with one or two gallons of water in a container with Alum, and soak your feet for 30 minutes. After, rinse with clear water; repeat after four days. Doing this for a month should get rid of your foot odor.
