How to Avoid tics

If you are going to the park, nature or lake, be aware about tics. Tics are little insects who attach themselves to a human body and sock blood. In the forest you are more likely to get them than anywhere else. Also, in many parks with many trees you could find tics. What to do and how to avoid them?

First of all, you are more likely to have chiggers if you spend many hours in nature. If you want to go to the nature, it's o'kay for a short period of time, but the more time you spend there, more likely you will get tics. If you spend 3-4 hours in nature it's more chance to get a tic. Be careful if you sit down on the bench in parks. Many parks have beautiful benches to sit and relax on, but it is very possible to get tics this way too. Look carefully at the place where you want to sit. Make sure the bench is clear, clean before you sit down. Even if you are sitting on a clean bench, avoid sitting for a long period of times, because tics and other insects could crawl on you without your notice.

How do tics look? Tics can be different shapes and different colors. I had tic one time and it looked like tiny fat spider. There are very hard, so if you want to squash him like a spider, you might not able to. They have very hard skin and it's hard to kill them. If you aren't sure whether you can kill it or not, you can always take it out outside somewhere in nature, of course if you first put in a jar or some other container. Tics have a fat body and small little legs, they attach themselves to a human body and sock on blood.

Having a tic from my personal experience. I had tic too and I think I got it in park. I got home from park and about a week later my body started scratching. I thought maybe a mosquito bit me, or I have pimple, so I didn't look at it carefully. One time it was scratching so hard, that I tried and pulled something that was in the place of itching. I thought maybe it was blood or dirt, when I pulled it off, I was terrified to see that was tic! I personally don't like anything that looks like a spider, so I was afraid to see tic on my body. It was very unexpected and I couldn't even imagine I had that. Nobody likes ticks and nobody wants to have them.

If you find a tick on your body, don't panic. I pulled of my tic with my bare hands and it wasn't hard. Also, you could have red spots on your body, in places where tics were sucking blood. Be aware and careful.
