Once we get past 30 years we begin to see the signs of aging - saggy skin, increasing waistline, loss of muscle tone, wrinkles, fatigue, memory loss, graying hair and the list goes on. They don't all appear at once but slowly take their toll on our body and mind in subtle and unrelenting ways.

One of the reasons we age is because our body's natural production of growth hormone decreases as the years roll by. This hormone is responsible for the development of lean body mass, bone density and an efficient metabolism that keep the body's fat storing capacity under control. When we have a constant stream of this hormone we get old tissue and cells being renewed and replaced which is what is needed to remain as youthful as possible.

Research shows however that age is not the factor that inhibits the body's release of this youth hormone that has the ability to slow down the aging process big time. There are things within our control that are responsible for the accelerated aging that comes when we live a lifestyle that does not support us remaining youthful.

These things that hasten aging are not enough physical activity, weight gain, obesity, high sugar levels and high levels of free fatty acids in the blood. These things stop the pituitary gland located at the base of the skull from releasing its precious contents.

A proper exercise program is one of the most important anti aging tools we have to beat back the effects of Father Time. However, not all forms of exercise will stimulate the release of growth hormone. It is important to select the right program and it has to be at the right intensity level (strenuous and sustained enough).

A brisk walk around the block or 20 minutes "on the bike" will raise your heart rate but will not help you release growth hormone. What is needed is a regular and consistent program that includes at least 60% strength training exercise and cardio interval training.

The strength training exercises must be performed at a level to create muscle exhaustion. This will bring an improvement to the body's metabolism (the rate your body burns fuel) and aid in body fat burning. When the muscles contract and relax during multiple sets of strength training exercise, the body is stimulated to produce significant levels of growth hormone to repair and renew the tissues that have been placed under physical stress from performing the exercise.

This flood of growth and tissue repair sweeps throughout the body giving every cell, body part and system a dose of this well known and well proven anti aging substance. Other benefits that you will enjoy by replenishing your body's lost level of this hormone include: a restoration of more youthful look, increased energy levels and a powering up of your brain function and mental sharpness.

Without a doubt this "fitness hormone" is the most powerful body fat cutting, muscle toning anti aging substance known to science and you have easy and direct access to it with the only requirement from you is to include a regular, consistent proper exercise program in your life.

Take the time to learn how to perform this program at the correct level of intensity so you do get the right results and are not wasting time and effort by not doing things correctly.

This is a very small price to pay for looking and feeling 10 - 20 years younger.
