Yorkshire Terrier originally came from a historic county of England called Yorkshire. Hence, the name of the breed is Yorkshire Terrier. You can also call the breed as Yorkie. It is the short form of Yorkshire Terrier. The breed usually grows silky and shiny black and tan fur. Technically, the black is more of a blue.
Also, the Yorkshire Terrier is notable small breed. In fact, the Guinness Book of World Record listed several record holders for the smallest dog in the world. The cute dog names on Guinness Book were Big Boss, Sylvia, Tiny Pinocchio, and Whitney.
Big Boss measured 4.7 inches or 11.94 centimeters. In 2002, the Guinness Book listed Big Boss for the smallest dog in the world. The name speaks for itself. The Big on the name means large or huge, while Boss on the name means head or leader.
