Studies show that among its many merits, sex is a form of pleasurable exercise. Used as such, it can help burn calories that increase the metabolism and help maintain weight. Proper weight maintenance ensures the continued health of our bodies and this keeps us youthful and staves off premature aging translated into fine lines and wrinkles from skin that has lost its elasticity.
Because it is a great and pleasurable exercise, it helps increase physical energy and stamina that allows us to engage in more activities that aid us get more out of life. Just like all aerobic exercises, sex increases oxygen supply to cells that are needed by the body for it to be able to perform all its important physiological functions.
It can also reduce bad cholesterol levels in our system and this keeps our heart healthy and young. A young body is translated into a youthful outward physical appearance. Last but definitely not least, there are important hormones that the body secrets during sex which is known to promote longevity, regeneration and provide us with an overall pleasant feeling for holistic management of aging.
With all these reasons and fantastic benefits, a regular and healthy sex life should be an important component to any anti-aging regimen. Combined with proper nutrition, outlook on life and other important anti-aging products, sex can help maintain youthfulness and health.
