So you may find yourself wondering what promotions are the best ones for building your business. Well although each business must gear their promotions to their own unique business a lot can be learned by the companies that have put themselves on the map.
Think if you will about McDonald's and Nike, just as two examples of businesses that have used logo recognition to establish themselves as perhaps two of the biggest U.S. businesses of all time. Now envision their logos which just about everyone can, because they are completely imprinted in all of our minds, as was intended. Each of these logos is just plain and simple. They don't use a lot of color or letters or anything extravagant. A very simple logo that immediately makes you think of their business. You don't need to see the name, you know by the logo which company makes that item.
Don't be one of those company's that end up confusing people with a complicated logo. If it has too much stuff in it then people won't remember it. It is a simple fact that when people see something in passing they only remember the basics of it. So if you only have a basic design you will be doing good. You don't want to have something fancy that ends up looking like another logo and then people become confused about your brand.
So when you have to pick a logo, go for something simple. If you have a simple design it will be more memorable. If you don't want someone else getting close to your design with theirs then simple design with very few colors is best. If you get a nice memorable simple design you can then use it on all of your promotional products and everything related to your business. You will get to the point where people can remember and recognize it.
What you need out of this planning is some good recognition for your logo. The hope is that you will be able to eventually have the logo so well known so that is all that you need for people to see. They will know your logo and understand the business that it represents. It is just a matter of time before your unique logo becomes something that is well known.
Give out cute promotional mugs with your logo to customers that love their hot liquids. If you want to see your logo on the street give out decent promotional clothing and it will go everywhere.
